Trailer: Smokey CONAN THE BARBARIAN Teaser That Hides Film

If you expected the teaser trailer for the Aug 19th opening, Marcus Nispel (Friday the 13th remake, Pathfinder) directed Conan The Barbarian to show you any glimpse at the style, the universe or anything meaningful about the 5 months hence opening action film, well think again. Except that it's looking likely it will decidedly contain supernatural elements. In a CGI, smoke heavy glimpse at the film, a gravely trailer voice-over narrates some boring images that don't blend together then we see our new Conan - former model and Baywatch Hawii actor Jason Momoa - who fails to at all sound convincing in a lame speech and that's it... nothing else to see. I have learned nothing about the new Conan and I don't feel teased in anyway. I do like the motion one-sheet poster which carries sound reminding me of a Mortal Kombat loading screen (especially with the Skulls!) - that's cool though...
