TRON 2.0 has cast two TURISTAS

Joining the returning Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn in TRON 2.0 (which might in fact be titled TR2N) will be newcomers to the series Olivia Wilde (a regular on House) and Beau Garrett (a very small part in FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER). Both young actresses were in the 2006 slasher movie TURISTAS (Garret is first one on the left, Wilde the second). According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wilde will play a worker in the virtual world who tries to help fight Master Control Program, the villainous intelligence protocol that was the nemesis in the original film. Garrett will play a siren in the virtual world. Commercials director Joseph Kosinski makes his directorial debut with the picture (he did the Gears of War ads for Xbox 360) described as the next chapter in the TRON saga. The Disney movie will shoot in the Spring and is expected to be in theatres Summer 2011.
