We Own the Night trailer

ddddd.jpgWe Own the Night is a movie playing at Cannes, with the hope of finding a distributor. The movie stars Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg, Robert Duvall and Eva Mendes in what is a serious psychological crime drama. Yes that is truly a four worded genre! A trailer for the film has cropped up at the official French website for the movie which you can see by clicking here.

Called "We Own the Night," the movie is a gripping drama set in the 1980s at the height of a bloody war between New York police and Russian mobsters who have targeted the officers and their families. The film stars Phoenix and Wahlberg as brothers in conflict.
Looks interesting enough. It's a shame they haven't used the French title for the movie. LA NUIT NOUIS APPARTIENT because it sounds so much more alive than We Own the Night.
