The original edit of this scene sparked controversy among the Muslim community due to the man in question wearing a pendant that formed the word Allah (The Arabic word for God), which also got destroyed by Perry. The pendant was digitally removed from the scene following a petition against the scene, which received more than 65,000 signatures.
