You may know Mr. James from Youtube, being that any that have looked into learning any of the heavier aspects of guitar usually happen across his crazily-proficient technique. Perfect is a word invented for the likes of Andy James, as even after
seeing him live Im yet to see anything less than a showcase of spectacularly intense fretwork, putting more attitude behind his playing than a particularly passionate mosher hell-bent on flailing themselves around to the eb and flow of any song. Whilst his band Sacred Mother Tongue are currently wrapping up their final tour due to financial constraints and industry woes, their latest full-length Out of the Darkness is a brilliantly solid listen for those after some melodic metal infused with lightning-fast thrash and screaming high-notes.
