You play netball because you absolutely love the sport, it's a great way to stay in shape and you absolutely adore the girls that you play with. You've probably met some of your best friends through clubs, games and tours and you know that whatever happens in your life, you'll always have that one (very important thing) in common. But with every sport, there comes a set of stereotypes attached to it that suddenly define who you are just because of what your hobby is. There are quite a few when it comes to netball players and oddly enough, you'll hear them mostly from men who think that they're being funny when in reality, they've just lost any chance that they previously had with you. For some reason they don't understand that you should never mess with a netballer. Not only are you loyal, dedicated and patient but there's only so much that you can handle, so if you hear another guy make some sly joke about you having an amazing ability to control a number of balls (regardless of size) on a night out when you're on tour, then you be sure to take that aggression out on the court, and not on his face. Of course, it is the minority who spoil it for the majority, but there are certain things that you're just tired of hearing...
