Hack The System initially saw each team have to put together a music video, which not only gave them a chance to show off their production skills, but required them to really encapsulate the feeling and essence of their own locality. Hack The City saw the teams get out there and see what they could do to create a buzz in the heart of their city. With the aim to promote their own €˜Red€™ themed party, the teams set about finding ingenious ways to grab people€™s attention and really make an impression. This latest challenge is the actual hosting of each respective €˜Red€™ themed party, and this time the teams are being judged on organising the event in the most unexpected and unique locations they possibly can, the energy of the crowd, and ultimately seeing who can hold the most unconventional party that€™s ever been seen.. As through the rest of the campaign the teams are being guided and judged by the four mentors Carly Wilford, Pavan Mukhi, Stuart Warren-Hill, and David Bailey. You can read about what each Team did, and catch a look at each flyer below: London
The team looked to host an exhilarating and energy rammed club night in the Round Chapel in Hackney. The eye catching centre piece which the DJ booth and stage was built around was the original and magnificent church organ. With big beats, lights, smoke machines, and dancers, the crowd certainly responded adding to an already electrically charged atmosphere. Bristol
Eyeing the Old Court Rooms in Bristol, the team looked to bring a flavour of modern groove to a somewhat dilapidated but wonderfully raw setting. With a great set list and pile of production equipment, Bristol€™s very first LED panel ceiling was also installed to really make the occasion an unrivalled bash. Manchester
Held outside in the Projekts underpass skate park in the heart of the city, they worked to contrast the urban and rugged industrial landscape, with a modern club and MC party. What was in essence an open air party gave rise to a real intimate feel of community spirit. Click NEXT to see of the most weird and wonderful party venues from around the world and beyond...
