It is every fan's dream to share the experience of the characters in their favourite fictional programme - be it to cast a spell in the halls of Hogwarts, spend a day with Bilbo Baggins in Middle Earth, or even Trek around the universe in the Starship Enterprise. What's more, the success of a film or television show is often measured by the number of series and volume of viewers it receives - but the all-time classics capture the public's imagination to such an extent that they inspire their very own attractions and theme parks. Game of Thrones is just the latest TV show to inspire an attraction following the opening of the All Men Must Dine medieval banquet at the Andaz in London. Poached veal tongue, glazed eel and fried locusts were just some of the exotic delicacies on offer to Game of Thrones fans at the pop-up restaurant on London's Liverpool Street. Walking into a grand room, furnished with a huge dining table in the centre and candles around the perimeter, fans will immediately have felt they had been transported into their TV screens and on to the HBO set of Game of Thrones.
