Disneyland Paris Turns 25 - 10 Reasons You Need To Visit

10. Big Thunder Mountain

After being closed for 12 months Disneyland Paris' Big Thunder Mountain returned at Christmas with a bang.

The long closure was to allow Disney to carry out a huge make over for the ride. With a fresh coat of paint and the restoration of the rides props, the ride is looking in tip-top condition.

Not just content with replacing any damaged set pieces, Disney have also added projection technology to the final lift hill. As you enter the final tunnel the dynamite on the walls comes to life and the tunnel begins to explode all around you. A similar projection was added to the Disneyland in California version back in 2014.
