One of the 80s most iconic horror movies is finally coming to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.
Steven Spielberg and Tobe Hooper's Poltergeist is the latest horror house to be added to this year's Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort festivies.
Guests will enter the home of the Freeling family and come face-to-face with the malicious spirits that haunt them. Get ready to step right into one of the scariest movie ever made.
Expect to see some of the film's most iconic moments including the "flickering TV screen, menacing Beast
from beyond and pool filled with floating corpses."
Mike Aiello, the Senior Director of Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando discussed at a recent media event how once inside the house, horror fans will step into the "light". Once inside fans will experience a "surreal landscape of vanishing walls, floating furniture and a creepy clown
with a menacing smile." Will you make it back to the living, or trapped forever in this terrifying place?
This year's event has a distinctive 80s feel with Stranger Things, Killer Klown's From Outer Space and home-grown stories already announced.
Celebrating its 28th year in the Orlando Resort, Halloween Horror Nights is arguably the biggest Halloween event in the world and this year is set to be the biggest ever! There are a record breaking 10 houses.
