There's something special about the horror genre. From the various different subgenres, the iconic characters, and the sheer, unadulterated terror, horror was, is, and forever will be popular with moviegoers. After all, who doesn't love a good scare now and again?

Of course, as alluded to, there are so many iconic characters dotted throughout the history of the horror genre - four of which being Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, and Leatherface.

Heading up their respective Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Texas Chain Saw Massacre franchises, these brutal sorts have had horror hounds cheering them on for decades by this point in time. Despite being the clear villains of their movies, the four legendary figures are the sort of bad guys who you just cannot help but celebrate as they embark on bloody rampage after bloody rampage.

Collectively, Michael, Jason, Freddy, and Leatherface have amassed an utterly ludicrous kill count - but how well do you know the killing sprees of these four?
