Tottenham Hotspur Football Club go through managers like nobody's business. In the Premier League era alone - and including caretaker spells - there have been twenty different managerial reigns at White Hart Lane, which averages out at almost one per year. Impatient chairmen like Alan Sugar and Daniel Levy are to blame, as they have failed to give a number of individuals sufficient time to turn the club's fortunes around. In the last two years alone, Spurs have had four men in charge, with Harry Redknapp's four year tenure coming to an end in 2012, him being replaced by Andre Villas-boas, Tim Sherwood taking over from him last December and losing his job in May, and current boss Mauricio Pochettino taking on the role after that. Spurs fans will be hoping that, regardless of how this season goes, Pochettino is given more of an opportunity than the last couple of manager's to put his stamp on the club, as stability is something the Lilywhites drastically need. In addition to all of the aforementioned managers, there have been a number of men who nearly took over at White Hart Lane in recent memory and it is those people who we're going to be looking at here. Here are ten people you didn't know almost managed Spurs...
