5 Biggest Boxing Fights Still To Come In 2013

4. Wladmir Klitschko vs. Alexander Povetkin

vladimirKlitschko_1UC8W Wladmir and his brother have dominated boxing over the past decade but this match could be a threat to their dominion. Wlad will put his titles on the line against undefeated Olympic gold medalist Alexander Povetkin. It could be argued that this match should have happened a few years ago when both fighters were in their prime however this is not the case and we should still a great match that has been highly anticipated. The match will take place at Olympic Indoor Arena in Moscow on the 5th of October. Fighting undefeated fighters is nothing new to Wladmir, he has fought undefeated boxers eight times during his career including victories over Ruslan Chagaev, Calvin Brock and most recently Mariusz Wach. Despite this Povetkin will be the best fighter he has fought since possibly David Haye back in 2011 and Povetkin is a much bigger heavyweight in size than Haye. This match is a must watch because it is a real challenge for Wladmir and we could be watching the boxing equivalent of the Berlin Wall getting knocked down if we Wladmir get knocked out. However I would give the edge to the great Wladmir Klitschko because of his pure boxing ability.
'This is the best fight that the heavyweight division has to offer at the moment.' - Wladmir Klitschko
