He outshone Ronaldo last night with his brace for the Danes and, though he was on the losing end of a game that ended 3-2, there was only one man people were talking about afterwards: Nickolas Bendtner – naturally. The self-proclaimed “best striker in the world”, a part-time Paddy Power spokesperson and one of the most feared target men in the Reserves Premier League over the years, the confident forward has his doubters (they’re called “Arsenal fans”) but in the end it seems he’s just been waiting for the rest of the world to catch on to his brilliance. So currently an Arsenal striker is top of the scoring charts at Euro 2012. Ah, I hear you say, RvP has had a great season and is now proving it at the Euro’s. Incorrect, the joint top scorer is Nicklas Bendtner! Now, here are my 5 reasons why he is the Best Striker in the World…

If you think Bendtner is better than Messi than you don’t deserve to live
If you think Bendtner is better than Messi, than something is wrong with you.
Bit over the top Tom but I catch your drift. Although I think you’ll find this has been written rather sarcastically….
I realise it’s a joke article but still..
“Better goals per game ratio than Cristiano Ronaldo”
Ronaldo 231 goals in 414 matches. (0.56 per game) Bendtner 61 in 219. (0.28)
If you say so..
It’s clutching at straws, which you have to when your trying to make one of the Worlds worst strikers into one of the best. And technically, he does, in Denmark vs Portugal games which is what the section says….
Hahahahahaha best in the world?!! he isnt even in the top ten in the league!!! This guy is SOGGY!!
Nice write-up Jon!
I would be great if you could come up with Nani’s version of the same article hahahaha
hey look lets get him some playing time until january atleast, if he fails to impress then let him sling his hook although i cant help but feel that if we sold him now we’d probably get more with all the hype around him atm
