On the surface, Baszler's 15-11 record as a professional is nothing to write home about. That being said, to truly understand the current NXT queen's MMA run, one must also consider the level competition she faced.

A pair of Baszler's losses came at the hands of perhaps the two greatest female mixed martial artists of all-time, Amanda Nunes and Cris Cyborg.

As was previously mentioned, she was defeated by Nunes during her final bout in the UFC. Her fight with Cyborg took place back on July 26, 2008, at an EliteXC event. Despite heading into the contest riding a four-fight win streak, Baszler was soundly defeated by the former UFC champ. That night Cyborg emerged the victor via second-round TKO.

Three more of her losses occurred while taking on former UFC title challengers such as Aleix Davis (who she also defeated), Bethe Correia, and Sara McMann. Bayszler also came up short against former Strikeforce champ, Sara Kaufman.

In other words, seven of her eleven losses came against fighters who have either held a world title, or competed for one.
