6. They Are The Best At What They Do
What does the average accountant make? Im not entirely sure, a comfortable living I guess, but one that lies far from the gilded luxury of the truly rich. Heres the thing though; the top accountants in the world are millionaires many, many times over. Same goes for lawyers, dentists, architects, engineers, actors, doctors, authors and virtually any other profession you can think of. Those sitting at the very top of their chosen field are rich. Very rich. So why should it be any different for athletes? A footballer is just another profession, albeit a fairly glamorous and rarefied one. It seems the only real difference is that an accountant at the top of her field doesnt get her wages published in the newspaper every other day. If she did, youd be strongly considering following her into the wonderful world of accounting.
