8 Most Notorious Gym Fights In MMA

7. Uriah Hall's Sparring Exploits

Uriah Hall's stint in the UFC has been something of a mixed bag. He was touted as a huge prospect after bursting on the MMA scene, delivering one of the most devastating knockouts in The Ultimate Fighter history with a spinning hook kick win over Adam Cella. However, he has also put in some disappointing performances leading many in the MMA sphere to claim that he has yet to live up to his full potential.

Despite his exciting fighting style, Hall has been criticised for his often misjudged antics during sparring sessions. Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping has called Hall a bad trainer and said that Hall once started throwing punches because he was frustrated about being dominated by the Brit while training grappling.

Similar aggressive tendencies can also be seen in this video. It is clear based on the footage that Hall isn't worried about his partners skills as he keeps his hands by his side throughout and focuses on head movement.

Then, as Hall is moving away after throwing a jab, he leans right into a head-kick. While the kick certainly landed flush, it doesn't appear to be too much harder than the level the two men were already going at.

Hall doesn't appear to be phased by the shot, even giving his partner respect. But less than a minute later Hall uncorks a huge spinning back kick to the body that drops his sparring partner and leaves him wincing in pain.
