Arsenal New Purple & Black Away Kit For 2012/13 - Leaked Photos

New purple and black striped away kit and hot pink 'keeper tops leaked.

Leaked images of Arsenal's brand new away kit for the forthcoming 2012/2013 season have appeared online thanks to Arsenal fan @BlackScarfAFC (via WhoAteAllThePies.tv), confirming earlier leaks of a few weeks ago, and the interesting colour scheme that split fans back then. The new kit kit, which was unveiled with a clever "Purple Reign" tag-line, will feature purple and black stripes with red trim on the sleeves and black shorts, and will be released alongside a hot pink goalkeeper change strip. Here's the image that first appeared, with the strips being modelled by Wojciech Szcz™sny and Jack Wilshere...

And here's another image, featuring the full kit, including the purple, black and red striped socks... Interesting that Robin Van Persie wasn't included in any of the promotional material, and the fact that big-name signings Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud weren't given modelling duties suggests that the shirt has been lined up for a while. I'm not completely taken on the decision to use all black shorts, but the shirt itself is a fair sight prettier than the Liverpool monstrosity that was recently unveiled. Arsenal fans - what do you think? Will you be shelling out the necessary £40 or so to pick up this new away strip ahead of the new season? Share your thoughts below.
