Arsenal Transfer News: Robin Van Persie £10 Million Juventus Offer Rejected

Arsenal have turned down an £8 million (10million euros) offer for Robin Van Persie from Italian champions Juventus.

England's Theo Walcott to Italy. Arsenal are desperately hoping to tie both Van Persie and Walcott to new contracts at the Emirates as both player's respective deals expire at the end of the season and they could sign a pre-contract free transfer to any rival club as early as this January. If either man fails to sign a new contract, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be reluctantly forced to sell to recoup a transfer fee, just as he did with Samir Nasri last season who left for Manchester City under the same circumstances.
