Team News

Arsenal will welcome back Lukas Podolski and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after the duo missed Sunday's defeat to Chelsea through illness. The Gunners will likely be without midfield duo Abou Diaby and Francis Coquelin, who are suffering from thigh and hamstring injuries respectively. West Ham have no fresh injury concerns however loanee Marouane Chamakh is ineligible to face his parent club. James Collins is again expected to miss out with a hamstring problem.

Match Preview

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted his concern over his side's recent performances after suffering back-to-back defeats to Champions Manchester City and European Champions Chelsea in the last two Premier League games, conceding that his side just "do not win the big games". The Gunners have only won one game against a side that is currently above them in the table, which means it is of extra importance that they beat those below them if they are to maintain their top-four charge. Arsenal usually do well against West Ham; they are unbeaten in their last 10 league and cup games and have won eight of those matches. Wenger will be hoping therefore that his side can get their season back on track tonight.
