Arsenal Will Offer Nicklas Bendtner To Sunderland For £4 Million

Arsenal will allow misfiring Nicklas Bendtner to leave Arsenal for a cut-price £4 million in the summer though Sunderland aren't keen on the move.

Arsenal will allow misfiring Nicklas Bendtner to leave Arsenal for a cut-price £4 million in the summer, according to The Sun. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has lost faith in the striker he valued at over £10 million just two seasons ago and his 3 goals in 17 appearances on loan at Sunderland this season hasn't impressed the French manager. Neither have they impressed the Black Cats manager Martin O'Neill, who has also been frustrated with the injuries the player has picked up, including breaking his cheekbone last month. Plus they don't think he is worth the £52k a week wages. The Sun further reports that Sunderland aren't keen on extending his loan into a permanent deal, and Bendtner is now likely to find new suitors. The Danish international striker, still only 24, is believed to want to end his Premier League nightmare with a move to Italy or Spain. Reports are that has has become unsettled in the North East, having recently being charged with criminal damage and speeding bans for his off the field misdemeanors.
