Chelsea Next Manager: Jose Mourinho Latest

Team Talk. Many believe the Portuguese dropped his biggest hint yet pertaining to his future following Madrid's dismissal from the Champions League by Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night. Then, the former Chelsea boss remarked that he "would go where people love him to be" next season. Considering he remains a cult figure in West London 6 years after his Stamford Bridge exit, it is easy to draw conclusions as to where he was referring to. However, speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's clash with Real Valladolid in La Liga, he said:

"It's not worth talking about if I go or not. If I go, I will not give explanations. "I'm working with total professionalism and I still have the same honour and pleasure to work for this club as I did a month or two ago. "I have not taken the decision yet. First to know will be my wife and my children. Then the president (Florentino Perez) and director general (Jose Angel Sanchez). "We will speak about the future after the end of the season. I have a Copa del Rey final and La Liga matches to play."
If Madrid fail to beat Valladolid, Barcelona could be crowned Liga champions if they then beat Real Betis on Sunday night, but Mourinho was philosophical on his side's imminent relinquishing of the Spanish championship.
"Finishing second in the league is not what we want but it is better than finishing third. We want to win as many points as possible."
Indeed, this has been a season of disappointment for Mourinho, who also failed in his ambitions to become the first coach to win the Champions League with three clubs following his previous successes with Porto and Inter Milan. And Mourinho is hopeful Real can one day win "La Decima" - a record tenth European crown - whether it is with or without him at the helm.
"I just want Real Madrid to win the Champions League, either with or without me."
