Sky Sports News, the Merseyside club are set to sign Manchester City's England midfielder Gareth Barry, as the player has reportedly turned up at the club's training ground. And the club are also now finally coming close to a deal for Wigan midfielder James McCarthy, after Dave Whelan finally announced himself happy with the terms offered from the Toffees.
