Fantasy Premier League 2018-19 Tips: 5 Promoted Players To Sign

4. Tom Cairney (Fulham)

The man who scored the most important goal of the EFL season, Fulham's Tom Cairney netted the winner against Aston Villa in the play-off final to seal his side's promotion to the Premier League and cap off a fine individual season.

Cairney is one of Fulham's most creative and influential players. The Scottish international scored 12 league goals back in the 2016-17 season and won the Player of the Season award with Fulham. Last season, he only netted six times in total but was still a major player for the London club and earnt himself a Championship Player of the Season nomination alongside club mate and eventual winner Ryan Sessegnon.

Cairney has actually scored once in the Premier League before, way back in 2010 against Everton, but hasn't played in the top flight since then. Over the years, he's developed into an excellent midfielder and could be a shrewd fantasy investment. At just £5m, he's one of the cheapest midfielders in the game and has the potential to provide a nice amount of points through goals and assists.
