Fulham take on Norwich City in today’s 3pm Premier League opening clash at Craven Cottage. The match is not being screened live on television.

Here’s the team news ahead of the game;

Wantaway and probably Liverpool bound goalscorer Clint Dempsey was left out of Fulham’s squad for today’s game as manager Martin Jol believes the American talisman is not in the right frame of mind to face the Canaries.

Also missing for the Cottagers are Philippe Senderos (foot), Zdenek Grygera (knee) and Kerim Frei (pelvis).

For Norwich, new manager Chris Hughton is hopeful that his midfielders Anthony Pilkington (hamstring) and Wes Hoolahan (achilles) will be available for selection.

New signings Steven Whittaker (ankle) and Jacob Butterfield (knee) are likely to miss out, though Robert Snodgrass and Michael Turner could feature.

Loan signing Javier Garrido may miss out as he is still awaiting international clearance for his season-long move from Lazio.

Definitely missing for the Canaries are David Fox (knee) and defender Elliott Ward (leg).
