Designed by Warrior, the club expect to earn a staggering £300 million through their new six-year deal with the US sportswear company, who have taken over from former supplier Adidas. Included in the announcement of the new home shirt were comments from current Liverpool stars. Midfielder Lucas Leiva praised the fresh look.

"It is a very nice kit. The white details have given it a nice touch and the material is very good and very comfortable. I think they have done everything they can to make us feel good and it's a very beautiful kit. "I'm really looking forward to wearing it next season."

The cup-winning side of 1984 would be the last to win Europe's biggest club competition until 2005, when Steven Gerrard and co dramatically prevailed over AC Milan on penalties after extra time.
