Liverpool Transfer News: Bayern Munich Willing To Offer Arjen Robben For Luis Suarez

The Sun, Treble-winning side Bayern Munich are interested in unhappy Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. The German side are said to be determined to land the Uruguayan striker this summer and are willing to offer winger Arjen Robben as part of the deal. Suarez, 26, was in sensational form for The Reds last season, scoring 23 Premier League goals, missing out on tying with Robin van Perise for 2012/13 Golden boot by just three goals. The clinical striker has put teams on red alert after admitting he is unhappy at Anfield. Suarez has previously hinted at a possible move to Real Madrid this summer:

€œI have a contract with Liverpool but it€™d be hard to say no to Real Madrid.€
Whilst Suarez might be unhappy at the club, Liverpool have stated that the striker must hand in a written transfer request if he wants to officially leave Anfield this summer. With Suarez saying that a move to Real Madrid would be €˜hard to say no to€™, Bayern Munich may hijack any potential deal between Liverpool and the Spanish giants. Suarez€™s agent Pere Guardiola is the brother of new Bayern manager, Pep, meaning a family chat could influence a potential sale. With Bayern looking unwilling to offer a full cash deal to match any Madrid offer, they have added Dutch winger Robben to the deal which could force manager Brendan Rogers into selling his key striker. Suarez still has six matches left of his ten match ban following the incident when the Liverpool striker bit the arm of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic. The ban applies to all UEFA leagues and will mean that Suarez will have to honour this ban whether he goes to Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.
