Liverpool Transfer News: Manuel Iturra To Anfield?

The Mirror) Rodgers is planning to make a summer move for Malaga's Chilean midfielder Manuel Iturra, who is available on a free transfer when his current deal runs out in June. The Spanish outfit have began negotiations over a new contract with Iturra, who joined the club from União Leiria in August last year after a successful loan at Murcia, but they would still listen to offers of around £3million for him at the end of the season even if he signs. According to the report though, Iturra knows he would be able to secure better terms at a new club if he lets his current deal run down and becomes a free agent, so he is set to reject any new terms offered by Malaga. Iturra has played Club Universidad de Chile, before he was loaned to União de Leiria in Portugal in 2011, ahead of a permanent though short-lived permanent move. He then moved to Real Murcia on loan, and returned to Leiria where his contract was terminated before moving on to Malaga as the replacement for Sampdoria bound Enzo Maresca. He has Champions League experience with Malaga, as well as international experience with Chile, and would boost Brendan Rodgers' options in midfield. What do you think of this link?
