Man City Transfer News: Sergio Aguero Set To Quit Etihad?

Daily Mail. City are in negotiations with the Malaga boss and hope to have the 59-year old Chilean installed as sacked Roberto Mancini's successor within two weeks. However, reports suggest Pellegrini could step straight into a battle to keep Aguero at the club, with the Argentinian prepared to join Mancini in leaving. The club's top goalscorer this season indicated to team mates that he is prepared to listen to offers elsewhere - and there would be no shortage of suitors. Aguero's desire to leave apparently stems from recent discord in the dressing room at the Etihad as well as the recent breakdown of his marriage to wife Giannina. The 24-year old is a popular figure at City and staff are reportedly doing all they can to make life as comfortable as possible for the man who will forever go down in folklore for helping to clinch the club's first league title since 1968 last season with that dramatic goal at QPR. And the deposed-champions will hope that the situation can be resolved before Aguero is tempted by interest from other clubs.
