Controversial striker Mario Balotelli, who at one stage Mancini claimed would never play for City again after a string of unprofessional behaviour, including the red card he picked up against Arsenal, has made the bench. For Queens Park Rangers, striker Djibril Cisse starts, as does Shaun Derry who was a doubt before today's game. Manchester City know that a win over Queens Park Rangers today, baring a freak goal result at The Stadium of Light between Manchester United and Sunderland, would secure the Premier League trophy for the blue side of Manchester.
