Man United Transfer News: Nani Open Talks Over New Deal

Manchester United winger Nani is once again in negotiations over a new contract after weeks of stalled talks and speculation of a move away from Old Trafford.

Crunchsports.com are reporting that Manchester United winger Nani is once again in negotiations over a new contract after weeks of stalled talks and speculation of a move away from Old Trafford. The 25-year-old Portuguese International has reportedly already declined two offers by the club, although he is confident his agent can come to an agreement on an extension. Nani said in an interview with the Times of India:

"We will see. I am very happy at Man United and have been there five years and won every title. The manager has great faith in me and that's what is important. My agent is negotiating and we'll see what happens."
Nani had originally turned down a £90,000-a-week offer from the Red Devils and with the club facing financial problems, the new deal being offered will no doubt be a similar offer in the same price range. Nani has two years left on his existing contract and Sir Alex Ferguson was hoping he would commit to the club. Ever since Nani was linked with a move away from Old Trafford, Manchester United have been linked with several players including Luka Modric, James Rodriguez and Joao Mountinho.
