Man Utd Boss Louis Van Gaal Snaps In Press Conference

The Manchester United manager lost his temper after journalists called his relationship with Ryan Giggs into question.

Louis Van Gaal has hit out at the media as a few journalists in attendance for United's latest press conference suggested that there was friction between the Dutchman and his assistant due to Giggs' underwhelming celebration in their last minute victory over Newcastle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0ACDFB4NNQ Ryan Giggs was certainly uncharacteristically still as his boss jumped for joy at Ashley Young's 89th minute winner but Van Gaal seemed insulted some journalists could make such a big deal out of something so small. Van Gaal reaction was to respond sarcastically in his attempt to expose the idiocy of the journalist's suggestion. "No. We have a very bad relationship. I cannot answer that. I want to have those rumours. "I am very irritated at this question because everyone can see we have a very good relationship. €œWe work very hard together. Not only with Ryan but with all the staff and the players. It is a way of suggesting things. I am very irritated. I take my measures against the media. I am not pleased." It remains to be seen whether the United boss will take action against the questions from the press conference but either way the Dutchman€™s short fuse suggests he is feeling the heat as the battle for the top four intensifies.
