Man Utd Next Manager: Jose Mourinho Favourite To Replace Fergie

Sky Bet listing him as 1/1 to succeed the veteran Scotsman, who today retired. The former Chelsea boss, currently in charge of deposed Spanish champions Real Madrid, is set to quit the club at the end of the current campaign and move back to England. Many reports had suggested he was about to make a sensational return to Chelsea, where he won back-to-back Premier League trophies between 2004 and 2007. However, United are now hoping to hijack those plans by naming him Sir Alex Ferguson's successor. The Scotsman today called time on his 26-year reign at the helm of the Old Trafford club, where he has won 38 trophies, becoming the most successful manager in the British game. His haul includes 13 titles, two Champions League crowns, five FA Cups and four League Cups. A hip operation later this year reportedly factored into his decision to retire. Meanwhile, Everton manager David Moyes, who is reportedly about to quit Goodison Park in the summer, is 6/5 to replace his fellow Scotsman, while Borussia Dortmund chief Jurgen Klopp, who has just guided the Bundesliga outfit to the final of the Champions League, is 12/1.
