Man Utd Transfer News: Cesc Fabregas Wants Old Trafford Move?

Daily Mail. United have already seen two bids for the midfielder turned down in the last couple of weeks, despite offering the Spaniard's in excess of £30 million for the 26-year-old. However, David Moyes yesterday told a press conference in Japan that a move for the former Arsenal captain is "ongoing" while it is believed a THIRD bid is imminent. The fact Fabregas has told friends in England that he wants a move to Old Trafford should provide the Premier League champions with all the impetus they need to press ahead with their pursuit. The Spain international is attracted by the promise of regular football at the Theatre of Dreams next season and is also tempted by the possibility of joining up again with former Arsenal teammate and United striker Robin van Persie. Fabregas also believes he can win an English title to go with the Spanish title he won last season, and that he has unfinished business in England in that he only won the FA Cup and Community Shield during his eight years in North London. Barcelona's stance however remains that the midfielder is not for sale, but if Fabregas asks for a transfer, that could soon change.
