SkyBet.com tweeted yesterday that Real Madrid playmaker Kaka is favourite to become Manchester United’s fourth signing of the summer.
Sky Bet along with other bookmakers have slashed the odds to 1/2 for the Brazilian international midfielder to join the Red Devils before the end of the transfer window. They slashed the odds on the 30-year-old joining Manchester United before the end of August from 6/1 to 8/1 to then 1/2.
Kaka, who has been linked with several top European clubs (including high spenders PSG) after allegedly being told by boss Jose Mourinho that he didn’t have a place at the club, is now setting his eyes on the Premier League. According to Crunchsports.com could be about to make his way to Old Trafford on a season-long loan deal.
Sir Alex Ferguson completed the signing of Robin van Persie on Thursday for £24 million, which will have no doubt have caused concern for Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini as the fight for next season’s Premier League title gets underway.
However we can’t help but think the possible signing of Kaka does seem very unlikely and United fans shouldn’t get their hopes up just yet.
