Man Utd Transfer News: PSG To Offer £30 Million For Wayne Rooney

Daily Express, French champions Paris Saint-Germain have told Wayne Rooney he can name his terms for a potential £30 million summer bid move which he will receive £300,000-a-week contract Rooney, 27, has handed in a transfer request at Old Trafford but former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, has denied rumours that the club will let him leave this summer. PSG are confident that a £30 million bid will secure the Englishman and the club are planning on offering Rooney a four-year deal worth over £15 million a year. The French side have also said that if Rooney isn€™t happy with that deal, he came name his terms. Rooney has two-years left on his Manchester United deal worth £250,000-a-week and new manager David Moyes is keen to extend Rooney€™s stay. Rooney and Moyes were meant to discuss a potential deal between the two parties but after Rooney€™s second child was born, the meeting is yet to happen. The unsettled striker has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford for a few months now and is on the radar of many top clubs including Chelsea and Arsenal. If Rooney does sign for PSG we will partner Zlatan Ibrahimovic, making a worrying strike force for defenders across Europe. Manchester United are also rumoured to be making a swoop for Everton pair, Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini, meaning the money the club get for Rooney will likely go back straight into the squad. United are also monitoring Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski despite the interest from other big clubs such as Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
