Arsenal captain Robin Van Persie will play for The Gunners in their friendly in Cologne tomorrow, amidst reports in The Mirror that Manchester United’s attempts to sign the forward have stalled.
The Euro 2012 Dutch sensation has trained with his Arsenal team-mates in Germany all week, seven days which have gone by without any further developments in his potential move to Old Trafford.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has made it known loud and clear that he is does not want to sell Van Persie, especially to a Premier League rival, and United boss Sir. Alex Ferguson has yet to come back in with an improved offer from their first a fortnight ago that was believed to be under £10 million.
Arsenal want at least £20 million for their prized asset but United aren’t willing to match that figure which could yet mean that Van Persie begins next season at the Emirates.
There has been renewed optimism in North London that Arsenal may be able to convince Van Persie to stay as the club have shown more ambition in the transfer market than usual, snapping up Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla with more apparently to come. Wenger has reportedly been impressed by Van Persie’s training and as of right now he is likely to start their opening Premier League match against Sunderland in 7 days time.

We want van persie in man united
Man Utd wil not sign any player. As asual lots of talk, but finally No players accept united bid. United sold three players but bought only two. Horrible Transfer Season for ManU :(
We do need him jonny. Me and you are terrible.
We need RVP and Lucas to strengthen strikers and midfielders.
We need RVP at United
Robin should be an Arsenal player next season just for priciple .Why do Barsa or Manchester think they can get any star they want ? Arsenal board should put Arsenal supporters feeling befor their revenue or pay the high price …
If players do not wish to stay what make you think they will play there best football for you if you make them stay ?
We really nid rvp nd lucas so as 2 strengthen up d team
will relly need Rvp 4 tis season so mosh.
van persie already finish to go man utd
Everybody knows that Man United has always feared Arsenal, even when they r not on form like last season, so the issue of showing interest in VP is just to disorganize Arsenal, i mean we all know that they have their “mighty Rooney”, so what more do they want apart from planning to destroy his future, looking at all the favors and who is who in a team. VP should just stay and become a hero with the Gunners, and i promise everyone that Arsenal has never been a team to fool!!!, those who have tried have seen it for themselves, actually most of them are even not herd of in the football world, yet if they had maintained their stay at Arsenal, they would be Heroes by now.
One score 8-2, why would RVP want that ?????
We don,t nid Vp in united.he is after money. We already hav a worldclss strikg force in Wayne.Asenal shuld go to hell. Fegie get us midfeilder, pls
As a supporter of United. We have ever taken trophies without Arsenal players. Let’s maintain our strikers and find ways of sending Wyne Roony in front than over moving back for mid field. Our players are still able to do everything we think VAN/P can do.
I DONT SEE MUCH IN RVP THOUGH IS GD BUT WE NEED A SERIOUS MIDFIELDER.
Van persie shuld kam to untd pliz fergie du samting
Let VP stay we dont need ROONEY ENOUGH
Although RVP is worldclass player but as a supporter man ud have enough striker the team need midfilder(as modric)
Get a top player for utd..we need world class player to fight against other teams…we can’t compete without good player..please Sir..think about it
man utd dont need vp,they mordric
man utd dont need RVP they need Lucas Mordric
no we need RVP because this season we went to take UEFA Champions League and
Barclays Premier League so that why
As fer RVP, need is not the word. We can have him to complement the srike force, ie, if we can get him for less than 20k. As for his wage demands, to hell with him.Wenger did not deem it fit to pay him a 100k for the 7yrs he has served the club. It seems RVP envies Rooney to demand a similar wage, CRAZY VP. YOU MUST COUNT YOURSELF LUCKY FOR FERGIE TO EVEN CONSIDER GIVING U A GO AT OT.Think fast and sensible before you ROT at the Emirates or u see yourself wrinkling on the transfer shelf. With your age, read the REALITY page in your football chapter before it becomes obsolete
RVP U SHLD CONSIDER URSELF LUCKY FERGIE WNTING TO OPPORTUNE U TO BELONG TO THIS FAMOUS CLUB OF MANCHESTER UNITED AND TO HAVE OLD TRAFORD AS YOUR FOOTBALL HOME. COMMON BOY, BE REALISTIC, UR AGE, INJURY PRONE, AND THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH TIME U HAVE SPENT AT ARSENAL BABY CLUB AND WHAT U HAVE, OR SHALL I SAY HAVE NOT ACHIEVED.MONEY, WELL AM SURE U HAVE WHAT WILL COUNT AMONG GOOD CASH FOOTBALLERS. BUT TROPHIES, AM AFRAID. HOW MANY WOULD YOU SHOW YOUR CHILDREN FOR ALL THE NAME YOU WILL THINK YOU MAY HAVE MADE IN FOOTBALL. TO OLD TRAFFORD, OR ROT ON TRANSFER SHELF WITHOUT A BUYER. OPEN YOUR EYES AND BE SENSIBLE.ITS ALMOST DOWN FOR U.AND FOR DO WE NEED U,I BELIEVE U NEED MAN.U AND MAN.U LIKES U. TAKE ADVANTAGE,VP
nice one adama dude
he is being greedy!! :{
he has to think towards his own life nd game
man utd must strenghen their midfield players to compete against man city first
public all i say is we dont need rvp he ll be good bt v need a midfielder a class player!!!!!
do hell wid wenger he is not gonna free rvp from arse-nul…
Man United are becoming a huge laughing stock in the transfer market, so much talk of new players and very little ever materialises into a deal.. dont for one minute be fooled into believing they are trying to sign players and RVP will sign, He wont, all this interest in new players is fake, half hearted attempts to sign players just to to fool their own fans into believing the Glazers have released some transfer funds, the truth is they haven’t. Its all one big smokeshield and a cover up for the Glazers.
It is the opportunity for RVP to come to man uted for him to win trophies rather than showing talents without winning a trophies.
RVP Manchester United is your favourite Home.
RVP WELL COME TO THE LAND OF TROPHIES LONG LEAVE UNITED
Am very happy with wat RVP is doing at man utd though iwas one ov the guys who haed not much intrest in him.But now am very happy Thank SIR ALEX FERGUSON that good buy at man utd. That is one of greatest transfer i ever seen in my life.
