Man Utd Transfer News: Toni Kroos Rules Out Move

Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos has ruled out a £25m move to David Moyes's Red Devils. Kroos reacted furiously on Wednesday evening when subbed by Bayern manager Pep Guardiola during his sides 2-1 victory over Stuggart; fuelling speculation that he could be prepared to leave the German Champions. Moyes had travelled to Germany last week to see the midfielder in action against Borussia Monchengladbach and was seen to be talking to agent Sascha Breese. The brakes now appear to have been put on any potential move, however, with the player reportedly telling Breese that he is not ready to quit Bayern Munich during the January transfer window. Speaking about Kroos, Guardiola said:
"He is an important player but things can move fast in football. Here today, gone tomorrow."
The news will come as a significant blow to David Moyes, who has already stated is he still urgently seeking another midfielder and a new left back. With his side still six points and a far-inferior goal difference away from the four Champions League places, Moyes is only too aware of the importance of bringing in World Class quality ahead of tonight's transfer deadline.
