According to the Mail Online, Zenit St Petersburg are preparing a £25 million bid for Manchester United winger Nani.
United’s talks with the 25-year-old over a new deal at Old Trafford has so far failed to produce a renewal on Nani’s contract that runs out in two years time. Despite Nani been linked with a move to White Hart Lane only a few days ago, the player’s representatives have reportedly met Zenit officials in Amsterdam to discuss over a deal yesterday that would take him away from the Premier League.
Speaking earlier this month, Zenit coach Luciano Spalletti said of the player:
“The news about Nani is true. Everything will depend on how much players cost because we won’t pay excessive amounts of money.”
The Russian champions are now favourites to sign Nani after it was made clear he would have a fight on his hands getting into the first team at United this season after being left out against Fulham on Saturday.

united will make a huge error if they sell Nani or Anderson. in fact Nani is not bad like young. young can play but always struggling. what about flentcher who some of us has even already forgotten?
I believe there is no point keeping a player if he clearly doesn’t want to be there. His performances recently have lacked the edge they used to have and on the first game of the new season against everton he just didn’t seem to care at all. It will be a big loss if he goes but if he doesn’t want to stay there is no point making him.
With the point about fletcher not one true united fan has forgotten and we all realise just how much we need him for the effort he puts in and the experience he can give to the next generation.
I think nani should not go because we hav not get replacemen.
