Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has missed training for Dortmund amid rumours that he could be imminently moving to Manchester United. The 26-year-old has racked up an astonishing 24 goals in 23 games for BVB, and while he still has plenty of time left on his contract, Aubameyang's form has caught the attention of a host of top clubs, including United, Liverpool, and Arsenal. A Dortmund spokesman said the Gabonese international star missed the session due to 'personal reasons' and while that may be the case, speculation is rife at this time of year. There's no question Aubameyang would improve Manchester United's stagnating frontline. Anthony Martial has looked the sharpest with 8 goals in 23 games, but Wayne Rooney's form and Louis Van Gaal's tactics have been heavily criticised throughout the season. United will face heavy competition from other sides for the striker, but arguably the biggest challenge would be prying him away from Dortmund who remain defiant in rebuffing attempts to sign their star man.
