Man Utd vs Arsenal: Live On Sky Sports 1 - Line-Ups

Venue: Old Trafford Kick-Off: 12.45pm Referee: Mike Dean Arsenal line up against Sir Alex's Man United at Old Trafford in the early kick-off looking to avenge last season's embarrassing 8-2 loss, as well as hoping that summer departure Robin Van Persie fails to pack his shooting boots in his first match against his former club. Rather worryingly for Arsenal, United have scored a massive 13 goals in their four home games so far this season, and the Gunners conspired to allow Reading to score 5 goals midweek, so we can perhaps expect another high-scoring game. Arsene Wenger has asked for respect to be shown to Robin Van Persie ahead of the game from the travelling Arsenal fans, to show their appreciation of his eight years in North London. Something tells me the suggestion might be ignored if the Dutchman fires in a goal or two... Man Utd start without defenders Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Nemanja Vidic, as well as midfield summer signing Shinji Kagawa - who are all injured. Despite rumours that he wouldn't, Van Persie starts against his old team, alongside Rooney. Arsenal meanwhile line-up without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Kieran Gibbs, 'keeper Wojciech Szczesny, midfielder Abou Diaby (thigh) and Tomas Rosicky. Theo Walcott drops out of the first team despite his impressive showing against Reading midweek.
