Manchester City's Shaun Wright-Phillips To Join Queens Park Rangers Today

29 year old England international should make the move back to London on a permanent deal today.

Manchester City players looking for a move that might resurrect their careers today is Shaun Wright-Phillips, the 29 year old England international who if he stayed, would be unlikely to make it into Roberto Mancini's 25 man squad. Having attracted serious interest from Stoke and Bolton Wanderers, news has emerged this morning that Queens Park Rangers are close to signing the pacy winger on a permanent deal and the former Chelsea man looks like he could be making a move back to London today. New owner Tony Fernandes has already brought in Newcastle United player Joey Barton (who has played the majority of his games for Newcastle on the right hand side of midfield) but is wanting to bring in Wright-Phillips to bolster his squad for the Premier League campaign.
