Manchester United take on Aston Villa in the only Premier League encounter of the day as United look to extend their lead at the top of the table back to five points. Kick-off time is at 4pm at Old Trafford and the match is being screened live on Sky Sports 1. After resting Paul Scholes in Wednesday night's defeat at Wigan, the former England midfielder is likely to be recalled to the starting line-up for today's game. Sir. Alex Ferguson however has no fresh injury concerns heading into today's game. For Alex McLeigh's Villa, who will be looking to win points to climb well beyond the relegation zone, late fitness tests will be given to both Stephen Warnock and Chris Herd. Both took knocks in Easter Monday's 1-1 draw with Stoke, Herd suffering a head injury and Warnock an ankle strain. Charles N'Zogbia and Gary Gardner will be hoping for recalls should neither man make it through. Also hoping to be in contention are Marc Albrighton (thigh) and Fabian Delph (ankle).
