Newcastle Midfielder's Agent Using "Tricks" To Try And Force Move To Liverpool

Sissoko is supposedly going nowhere this summer...

Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko "is not going anywhere" this summer, despite constant media reports linking him with a move to Liverpool. Speculation has been rife this summer about Sissoko's future on Tyneside, with Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and the Reds all credited with an interest in the France international. However, The Telegraph's North East reporter Luke Edwards took to Twitter over the weekend to claim that "there is absolutely no truth" in the reports linking Sissoko with a move to Anfield this summer. https://twitter.com/LukeEdwardsTele/status/617647941738758144 After viewing the reports, Edwards tweeted:
"Told there is absolutely no truth in #lfc wanting Moussa Sissoko so agent will have to try another trick to get him a move away from #nufc."
Various reports, including in The Express, claimed over the weekend that the 28-cap France midfielder was set to move to Liverpool this summer in a deal worth more than £10 million. However, Edwards claims that there is simply no truth in these reports at all and that the powerful midfielder will remain on Tyneside - even if the Magpies complete the £15 million signing of Georginio Wijnaldum. Sissoko made 38 appearances for the Magpies in all competitions last season, scoring on five occasions.
