Norwich City take on Queens Park Rangers at Carrow Road this afternoon in a 3pm Premier League kick-off. The match won’t be screened live on television in the UK.

Here’s the team news ahead of the game…

The Canaries will be without winger Elliott Bennett for today’s game. He is missing with a knee problem.

New signings Javier Garrido (who has had his international clearance processed following his season-long loan move from Lazio) and Sebastien Bassong are in contention to make their debuts.

Boss Chris Hughton could make several changes following Norwich’s 5-0 defeat at the hands of Fulham last week.

Definitely missing for the home side will be Jacob Butterfield (knee), David Fox (knee), Elliott Ward (ankle) and centre-half Steven Whittaker (ankle).

For QPR, new signing Jose Boswinga is in line to make his debut at right-back following his free transfer move after being released by Chelsea this summer.

The 29-year-old could be part of a re-shuffled defence after they themselves were part of a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Swansea.

Definitely missing for the away side will be Kieron Dyer and Alejandro Faurlin.
