Premier League 2017/18: Every Away And Third Kit Ranked
25. Newcastle (Away)
Poor Newcastle fans. Just when they thought the Magpies had released two of the season's best kits, the club go ahead and unleash this eyesore of an away kit. After holding out all summer, Newcastle have finally succumbed to Puma's increasingly infamous bubbles, proving The Prisoner right; eventually they'll get you. If the Toon manage to finish No. 6 this season though, there'll be few complaints.
The novel shade of electric blue is an apparent nod to Newcastle's precursors East End FC, though I challenge anyone to find any evidence whatsoever that they wore such a kit. They played in 1800s after all, before colour was invented. Given the beauty of Newcastle's other away kit, this one clearly should have been relegated to third choice.
