QPR manager Harry Redknapp could hand debuts to his three new signings Chris Samba, Jermaine Jenas and Andros Townsend.

Jamie Mackie (tonsillitis) is a doubt but Junior Hoilett is fit.

Norwich manager Chris Hughton could hand a debut to a new signing of his own – Luciano Becchio, following the striker’s switch from Leeds. On-loan Kei Kamara however is not expected to receive international clearance in time.

Striker Harry Kane has been recalled by parent club Tottenham.

Match Preview

Who’d have thought the Premier League’s bottom side would be the most active club on January transfer deadline day?

Harry Redknapp has been waiving his magic wand again and the serial relegation dodger has transformed this once beleaguered, aparently doomed side into one very much capable of beating the drop.

Loic Remy has already hit the ground running up front and with the addition of Christopher Samba, a defence which has only conceded once in its last four Premier League games suddenly looks a lot leaner.

Clean sheets against the likes of European Champions Chelsea and Premier League Champions Manchester City would have been unheard of at the beginning of the season, but it looks very much like Redknapp is turning a corner with the R’s.

Norwich on the other hand are in freefall. Despite an impressive 1-1 draw with Tottenham in their last outing, it’s been all of seven weeks since their last league win. Six defeats in nine games have followed, including the 5-0 pasting by Liverpool in their last away match.

Chris Hughton’s Canaries are looking like they may get sucked into a relegation dog fight, and if they lose here, that certainly will be the case.
