After a Champions League final full of talking points, the players are still digging at each other in the media.

Days after the game, Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos criticised multiple Liverpool players including Mohammed Salah and Roberto Firmino.

Sky News reports that Ramos claimed that Salah had instigated the tussle that left the Egyptian star injured and possibly out of the World Cup. He then added, "After the goalkeeper said that I dazed him with a clash with me I am only missing Firmino saying that he got a cold because a drop of my sweat landed on him.”

Speaking to the press ahead of Brazil’s game with Austria on Sunday, Firmino responded: "I think he has a view because he was the champion, but I thought he was an idiot for what he said but that's okay."

Ramos went on to claim his fourth Champions League title with Real Madrid after winning the game 3-1.

Over half a million people have signed an online petition asking for Ramos to be punished for his behaviour during the game. UEFA have since released a statement saying no action would be taken.
