Spurs Fans: Where Will Tottenham Finish This Season?

Can Pochettino bring European football back?

Fans of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have endured a mostly frustrating time over the past few years. A 2008 League Cup win and a 2010/11 Champions League campaign were the highlights of an otherwise fruitless post-millennium era, with the club failing to qualify for the Champions League by the skin of their teeth on a few occasions - including one occasion in 2011/12 when they did actually finish fourth in the Premier League (thanks to Chelsea - who finished sixth - actually winning Europe's elite competition that year). Regardless, every season is always met with renewed optimism - no less so than last season when, despite selling Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, the club spent more than £100 million on seven new players. Of course, Spurs would go on to finish sixth in the league, win no trophies, and qualify for the Europa League yet again. This season's optimism is no different. A new manager has been brought to the club in Mauricio Pochettino and the club have already brought in playing reinforcements in Swansea City pair Michel Vorm and Ben Davies - the latter of whom solves a long-standing left back problem at the club - and they have set their sights on a number of other potential targets, including Southampton's want-away pairing of Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez. So, bearing in mind the performances in pre-season so far (the club went unbeaten on an American tour), the style of football Pochettino should have them playing, the potentially settled and revived Roberto Soldado and Erik Lamela, the new signings made so far and the kind of players the club are still showing an interest in acquiring, where do you - the fans - think your beloved Lilywhites will finish in the Premier League table this coming season? Vote in the poll below and feel free to elaborate on your thoughts in the comments section at the bottom.
