Spurs Transfer News: Real Madrid Make £85 Million WORLD RECORD Bid For Gareth Bale

Teamtalk and wide-spread reports. The bid does not include any players in exchange, meaning no Madrid players would be expected to move to White Hart Lane as part of the package. It's claimed the bid has been on the table for over a week and as the saga drags on, Bale is said to becoming more and more frustrated with the situation. Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is said to be in Miami and is staying resolute on his stance that the PFA Player Of The Season is not for sale at any price. The Welsh International has so far not gone public on his feelings over a potential move to Madrid. The 24-year-old is however back in the country and will resume training with his team-mates tomorrow (Wednesday) after returning from the club's pre-season Asia trophy. Earlier this week it was reported by BBC News that Bale had asked Tottenham for permission to speak to Real Madrid over a move to Spain. He has three years remaining on his contract and Tottenham are hopeful that he would see out at least one more year on his deal.
